22 Likewise the house of Joseph went up against Bethel, and Yahweh was with them. 23 And the house of Joseph spied out Bethel ((A)now the name of the city was formerly Luz). 24 Then the [a]spies saw a man coming out of the city, and they said to him, “Please show us the entrance to the city, and (B)we will treat you with lovingkindness.”
